Description
France / Bordeaux / Graves / Pessac-Léognan
Having an excellent reputation since the early nineteenth century, Château Malartic-Lagravière was one of only six wineries in Bordeaux to be recognized in 1953 for both its red and - as well as being included in the Graves classification for its white wines. With the arrival of the Bonnie family at the end of 1996, a new era began for the château. Under the direction of the siblings Véronique and Jean-Jacques, the château literally flourished again. The focus is on organic cultivation of the vineyards. This has a direct impact on the wines; over the years they have gained depth, minerality and character.
