Medium to deep garnet in color, the 2017 Le Gay offers very classic aromas of plum jam, mulberries and baked black cherries with hints of tillage, cloves, cedar and tobacco. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, with firm, grippy tannins and plenty of muscular fruit , finishing with a note of steaming tea.
