Description
France / Bordeaux / Pomerol
Catherine Pere-Verge acquired Le Gay in 2002. With her passion and dedication, she transformed Château Le Gay from an acceptable Bordeaux estate into one with great potential. Since 2005, the quality and style of the wines from this fantastic terroir have taken a huge leap forward. Made from almost minuscule yields, the wines are concentrated and offer the rich, opulent texture expected of a great Pomerol. A wine that can easily hold its own against its illustrious neighbors - Domaine de l'Eglise, Chateau Gazin and Chateau Lafleur-Petrus, to name a few. Since 2013, Catherine's son Henri Parent has managed the family's estates, including Château La Violette and Château Tristan.
