Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2016 Château Lagrange glides from the glass with aromas of candied violets, cassis, undergrowth and warm black plums with hints of Black Forest gateau, cedar chest and yeast extract. Medium to full-bodied, the aromatic black fruits are solidly structured with super ripe, grainy tannins, the finish is long and complex .
