The 2010 La Gaffelière has a deep garnet red color and is a little closed at first. Then it slowly unfolds and smells of baked raspberries , kirsch, dried mulberries and plum pudding as well as pencil shavings and forest floor. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied , complex with spicy and earthy flavors with a firm framework of juicy tannins and well-integrated freshness and ends with a fragrance of fresh herbs.
