Château La Gaffelière has a long and eventful history of viticulture dating back to the Gallo-Roman period. The de Malet Roquefort family has owned the estate since 1611, making them the oldest family of winemakers in St. Émilion. The current owner, Leo de Malet Roquefort, is passionate about carrying on the traditions that have made the château famous around the world La Gaffelière have led.
