Grand Cru Classé

The 2015 La Clotte shows a medium to deep garnet-purple color and a very spicy nose of cinnamon stick, cloves, star anise and allspice over a core of red and black currants, mulberries and black earth, as well as a hint of violet. Full-bodied and opulently fruity with a firm frame of very ripe, beautifully velvety tannins and a lively backbone that offers plenty of lift during the very long finish.
