Château Grand Puy Lacoste 2018

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of Pauillac’s great classic estates and has been a Grand Cru Classé since 1855. The winery lies on a distinctive gravel plateau, the Grand Puy, which was already described in the Middle Ages as an ideal site for vines. The deep gravel-rich soils are perfect for Cabernet Sauvignon and give the wines their typical structure, finesse and remarkable longevity.

Since 1978 the château has belonged to the Borie family, who run the estate with great continuity and a clear commitment to quality. The vineyards are mainly made up of old vines and are cultivated with great care. In the cellar, precise vinification and balanced barrique ageing bring out the elegance and classic Pauillac signature.

Grand-Puy-Lacoste stands today for timeless, powerful yet elegant wines – authentic Médoc classics with pronounced Cabernet aromatics, fine balance and outstanding ageing potential.
