Château Gracia Grand Cru Classe 2014
Description
Description
Gracia is a real garage wine. It is produced in the picturesque village of Saint-Émilion in the smallest of spaces in a tiny side street. The winery is owned by Michel Gracia, who knows everything about Saint-Émilion and knows everyone. That's partly because he's also a contractor and stonemason, and has worked for many of the top wineries, including Château Cheval Blanc and Petrus. In 1994, Michel Gracia founded his own winery when he acquired a small 1.5 hectare plot of vines in great terroir near Château Troplong Mondot. In 2001, Michel Gracia added another 1.3 hectares of vines to his winery. The yields of the vines, some of which are over 40 years old, are very low, resulting in small quantities of highly concentrated wines.
