Homage to Jacques Perrin

Since this wine was bottled just a week before my tasting, I suspect this rating will prove conservative once a few months have passed. The Chateauneuf du Pape 2015 Hommage a Jacques Perrin is another great version of this wine. How many wines in this world can be so huge and yet have so little weight? There are lots of layers of spice, but also a core of raspberries; rich tannins, but no real astringency; and a long finish with no obvious heat. Awesome!
