Château Cos d'Estournel Blanc 2015
Description
Description
The château is named after the owner Louis Gaspard d'Estournel, whose travels to the Orient significantly influenced the design of the property, earning him the nickname " Maharaja of St. Estèphe". The statue "The Indian Elephant" greets visitors as they approach the château, and the elephant is also present in the beautifully designed tasting room. Michel Reybier, owner since 2000, has remained faithful to Louis Gaspard's avant-garde style. In addition, he has massively increased the quality of the wines. Less than 1000 cases are produced annually of Cos d'Estournel white wine, made from grapes from the Goulee vineyard in the north Médoc.
