Grand Cru Classé

Château Branaire-Ducru
France | Bordeaux | Saint-Julien
William Kelley for Robert Parker

The 2019 Branaire-Ducru unfolds in the glass with aromas of raspberries, blackcurrants, sweet earth tones and hints of cigar paper, rose petals and cedar wood. Medium to full-bodied, deep and complex, it is youthfully taut, with excellent concentration, sparkling freshness, powdery tannins and a long, salty finish. Although a little reserved at the beginning, its energy and classic proportions will richly reward storage in the bottle.
