Lisa Perrotti-Brown for Robert Parker
The 2018 Branaire-Ducru has a medium to deep garnet color and a prominent, expressive nose of baked black plums, boysenberries and sour cherries with hints of dried mint, spice box and undergrowth. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied and shows a very pleasant fruitiness with juicy black fruits, firm, grainy tannins and a long, brilliant finish.
