Description
France / Bordeaux / Médoc / Saint-Julien
Château Branaire-Ducru has been owned by the Maroteaux family since 1988. Today it is run by François-Xavier Maroteaux, whose father Patrick spared no effort to create the unique Branaire-Ducru style. In addition to the high investments in the vineyard and cellar, the proximity to the Gironde and the gravelly soil guarantee distinctive red wines. All new technical investments have quickly paid off for Château Branaire-Ducru. Starting with the 2000 vintage, Branaire-Ducru became one of the top wines of Saint-Julien. It is considered one of the most attractively priced wines for high-quality Bordeaux.
