Château Bellevue Grand Cru Classé 2016
Description
Description
The château owes its name to the breathtaking view of the Dordogne valley. On one of Saint-Émilion's best terroirs, with some of the great Premier Grand Cru Classé as immediate neighbors, the nearly 7-hectare vineyard extends seamlessly over the slopes of the plateau. Château Bellevue is owned of the Pradel de Lavaux and De Boüard de Laforest families, which also owns Château Angélus. Beginning with the 2000 vintage, the legendary oenologists Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt advise the winery and since 2007 the Château Angélus team has been responsible for the vineyard and cellar. Since then, it has shown what Château Bellevue is really capable of.
