Description
Description
France / Bordeaux / Saint-Émilion
The Château owes its name to the breathtaking view of the Dordogne valley. On one of Saint-Émilion's best terroirs, with some of the great Premier Grand Cru Classé as immediate neighbors, the almost 7-hectare vineyard extends seamlessly over the slopes of the plateau. Château Bellevue is owned by the Pradel de Lavaux and De Boüard de Laforest families, who also own Château Angélus. Starting with the 2000 vintage, the legendary oenologists Nicolas Thienpont and Stéphane Derenoncourt have advised the winery, and since 2007, the team from Château Angélus has been responsible for the vineyard and cellar. Since then, Château Bellevue has truly shown its potential.
