The wine village of Terlano is located about halfway between the cities of Meran and Bozen. The village and vineyards nestle against the steep, red porphyry rocks of the Tschöggelberg on the left side of the Etschal. In the mountains up to 900 meters above sea level. NN grow the white grape varieties. This terroir with its own unmistakable character is characterized by volcanic soils and a very special microclimate. Over the centuries, the Terlano vines have adapted to this special terroir and developed their very own, unmistakable character. Wine has been growing on the steep mountains above Terlano for centuries and the vines have been tended and cared for by the same farming families for generations.
