Description

Scotland / Highlands

Whisky is fascinating. During maturation, complex aromas develop, resulting in a rich and distinctive product. In this case, the single malt whisky from the renowned Macduff distillery underwent a maturation process of over 12 years. It then completed its maturation at the Vallendar distillery in barriques from the top Italian winery San Leonardo. The unique wine from Marchese Guerrieri Gonzaga left aromatic traces in the oak, thus influencing the character of this matured malt, which unites the best of grapes and grain.

Robert Mondavi Winery

Robert Mondavi Winery is regarded as one of the great pioneers of the Napa Valley and, like few other estates, represents California’s rise to the top tier of the wine world. Its home is in Oakville, around the famous To-Kalon Vineyard, whose gravelly and alluvial soils provide ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. The focus is on powerful yet balanced Bordeaux blends with dark fruit, cassis, noble spice and finely integrated oak, as well as the iconic Fumé Blanc, an elegantly matured Sauvignon Blanc with delicate oak spice. Warm days and cool nights ensure ripe tannins, depth and fresh structure. The house combines modern cellar technology with careful handwork in the vineyard and a clear commitment to quality, from entry-level wines to single-vineyard reserves. For a premium online shop, these wines are ideal: style-defining Napa classics with reliability, ageing potential and excellent food-pairing ability.

Pfalz

Origin in Focus

Pfalz

The Pfalz is one of Germany’s largest and sunniest wine regions, protected by the Palatinate Forest and shaped by diverse soils such as sandstone, loess and limestone.

Along the German Wine Route, accessible, aromatic wines with Mediterranean flair are produced. Riesling is at the centre – from linear and citrus-fresh to juicy and powerful. Weißburgunder and Grauburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc and red varieties such as Spätburgunder and Dornfelder are also typical; a lively rosé and sparkling wine culture completes the picture.
