The 2017 Spätburgunder Kalkstein is pure, fresh and spicy, even peppery in the concentrated and cherry-scented nose (20% whole grapes). Aged for 18 months in 500-liter tonneaux, it is a pure, fresh and salty, intense and spicy Pinot , concentrated, with a good, tightly structured and exciting finale with grip and tart cherry fruit. Tasted in Königsbach, December 2019.
