Das Polofeld befand sich auf erstklassigem Weinbergsland in Puente Alto, einem der prestigeträchtigsten Orte in Maipo.  Seit dem ersten Jahrgang hat Viñedo Chadwick durchweg höchstes Lob und Anerkennung erhalten, darunter auch die höchste Bewertung von Robert Parker für einen Cabernet Sauvignon aus Chile in fünf aufeinanderfolgenden Jahrgängen. Diese Auszeichnungen belegen eindrucksvoll die Erfolgsgeschichte des Weltklasseweins, die auf leidenschaftlichem Engagement für Qualität und dem gekonnt herausgearbeiteten Ausdruck des Terroirs basiert. Viña Seña

The Chilean winery Viña Seña was founded in 1955 from the joint venture of winemaking legend Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, one of the most respected Chilean winemakers.

Both recognized the potential of the wine region in the Aconcagua Valley and began to plant and sustainably cultivate a vineyard in a cool location at the foot of the almost 7,000 meter high Aconcagua mountain. The location offers optimal conditions for growing quality wines, including a variety of soils, an ideal climate and high levels of sunshine.

Here they produce the fresh, elegant cult wine Seña, which has been one of the best wines in the world since the sensational Berlin Tasting in 2004.

European wine experts to blind taste 16 wines and awarded Seña second place, ahead of Château Lafite-Rothschild.

Since 2005, the winery has been 100% owned by the Chadwick family.
