The polo field was located on prime vineyard land in Puente Alto, one of the most prestigious locations in Maipo. Since the first vintage, Viñedo Chadwick has consistently received the highest praise and recognition, including Robert Parker's highest rating for a Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile for five consecutive vintages. These awards impressively document the success story of the world-class wine, which is based on a passionate commitment to quality and the skilfully worked out expression of the terroir. Viña Seña

The Chilean winery Viña Seña was founded in 1955 from the joint venture of winemaking legend Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, one of the most respected Chilean winemakers.

Both recognized the potential of the wine region in the Aconcagua Valley and began to plant and sustainably cultivate a vineyard in a cool location at the foot of the almost 7,000 meter high Aconcagua mountain. The location offers optimal conditions for growing quality wines, including a variety of soils, an ideal climate and high levels of sunshine.

Here they produce the fresh, elegant cult wine Seña, which has been one of the best wines in the world since the sensational Berlin Tasting in 2004.

European wine experts to blind taste 16 wines and awarded Seña second place, ahead of Château Lafite-Rothschild.

Since 2005, the winery has been 100% owned by the Chadwick family.
