The 2018 Viñedo Chadwick is elegant, with red and black fruits, some aromatic herbs, the cedar-like, spicy notes and the characteristic tannins of the Cabernet, while retaining the juiciness of the last few years. The small amount of Petit Verdot gives it a spicy note. It is lively, balanced and intense, and has the elegance of 2016 with a little more structure and depth - and a little more power too.

The Chilean winery Viña Seña was founded in 1955 from the joint venture of winemaking legend Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, one of the most respected Chilean winemakers.

Both recognized the potential of the wine region in the Aconcagua Valley and began to plant and sustainably cultivate a vineyard in a cool location at the foot of the almost 7,000 meter high Aconcagua mountain. The location offers optimal conditions for growing quality wines, including a variety of soils, an ideal climate and high levels of sunshine.

Here they produce the fresh, elegant cult wine Seña, which has been one of the best wines in the world since the sensational Berlin Tasting in 2004.
