Villa Cordevigo

Around a magnificent Venetian villa near Lake Garda, characterful wines are produced from the heart of the Bardolino Classico area. The hills of Cavaion Veronese offer poor, well-drained soils, plenty of sunshine and the moderating breeze of the lake – ideal conditions for fragrant, elegant red and rosé wines. One focus is Bardolino and Chiaretto from Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone: bright red, juicy wines with notes of cherry, red berries, citrus and Mediterranean herbs, always light-footed but never trivial. Part of the roughly 100 hectares of vineyards is farmed organically, complemented by olive groves for high-quality olive oil. The style is clear, appetising and versatile with food – from aperitif on the terrace to light Italian cuisine. For a premium online shop, the estate offers authentic Veneto wines with plenty of regional character and strong holiday appeal.

Origin in Focus

Venetien

Veneto in north-eastern Italy combines Alpine coolness and Adriatic mildness – ideal for a wide variety of styles. Famous examples include sparkling wines from the Prosecco area (Glera), fragrant Soave whites (Garganega) and Valpolicella reds from Corvina, Rondinella and other varieties. These include fruity Valpolicella, concentrated Amarone (made from partially dried grapes) and spicy, slender Ripasso. Fresh, versatile wines are also produced in the Colli Berici and around Lake Garda.
