Description

Spain / Castile and León / Ribera del Duero / Plano de la Ermita

The Bodega Tr3smano is located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero growing region, on the famous golden mile, home to some of Spain's most significant wineries. Here, three friends have realized their dream of an avant-garde winery. In the shadow of a 1,500-year-old olive tree lies the futuristic building, which harmonizes traditional production methods with the latest enological technologies. The work is carried out entirely by hand, and the Tr3smano team takes the utmost care to bring the excellent quality of the grapes into the bottle. Vineyards established decades ago on outstanding terroir shape the character of Tr3smano's exceptional wines. The grapes for the exclusive A.R.T. Milla come from the 5.5-hectare single vineyard Plano de la Ermita, located at an altitude of 800 meters, in the vicinity of Pingus.

Tr3smano

Tr3smano is a high-quality boutique winery in the heart of Ribera del Duero and one of the region’s exciting modern projects. The vineyards lie on old, sparse soils at high altitude; many vines are over 80 years old and produce extremely concentrated Tempranillo grapes. Careful hand harvesting, strict selection and precise ageing in French barriques define the estate’s elegant yet powerful style. The wines combine depth, structure and dark, ripe aromatics with remarkable freshness. Tr3smano stands for a contemporary interpretation of Ribera del Duero, harmoniously uniting tradition, terroir and modern craftsmanship.

Ribera Del Duero

Origin in Focus

Ribera del Duero

Ribera del Duero in Castile and León is one of Spain’s top regions for powerful red wines. At its heart is Tempranillo, known here as ‘Tinto Fino’, which ripens on high plateaus with large day-night temperature differences. The continental climate and calcareous, sandy-loamy soils produce deeply coloured wines with ripe fruit, firm structure and lively acidity. Stylistically, the spectrum ranges from fresh, fruit-driven Crianzas to complex, long-lived Reservas and Gran Reservas, often aged in oak. The result: character, concentration and elegance with excellent ageing potential.
