Javier San Pedro Ortega comes from a family of winemakers who have been cultivating vineyards in Rioja for five generations. The talented young winemaker pressed his first wine in his father's winery at the age of 17. In 2018 he opened his own winery and deliberately produces only a small number of remarkable wines here in harmony with nature. With its young team, this innovative winery produces wines that stand out from the classic Rioja wine. The Garnacha vines, from which the grapes for the Alpha come, grow in a small plot of only 0.6 hectares at an altitude of 700 meters. In this rather cool climate, unique wines are made and the alpha from the "cave of the wolves" is an impressive testimonial.
