North of Verona, narrow roads wind through the countryside to the small, well-hidden winery in the village of Negrar. A few hectares of vines thrive here in the best locations of the Valpolicella region on limestone and basalt soils. At Quintarelli, every wine is traditionally aged and given the time it needs to meet the high standards of the winemaking family. In 60 years, founder Giuseppe Quintarelli has shaped one of the most legendary wineries in Veneto. Primofiore is a wine that combines the traditional red wines of Valpolicella with those of Bordeaux, an interesting and unusual cuvée of the classic Valpolicella grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone and the famous Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The estate is run by the Quintarelli family and is devoted to tradition and craftsmanship passed down through generations. Giuseppe Quintarelli, who learned the art of winemaking from his father, was a visionary and pioneer in the region and is considered one of the great masters of Italian viticulture.
