Champagne Gosset

Maison Gosset, founded in 1584, can boast of being the oldest winery in Champagne. The traditional art of winemaking has been lovingly passed down over 16 generations. The Maison's credo is: "At Gosset, the focus is primarily on winemaking; the perlage simply adds to the beauty of the wine."

The unique Gosset style is characterized by a striking mineral freshness that reveals a fascinating complexity in the taste. The careful craftsmanship and the traditional method of bottle fermentation help to produce champagnes of exceptional finesse and complexity.

Gosset champagnes are aged in bottle for a minimum of 3 years to an impressive 10 years or more. These fine wines rest in the more than 1.7-kilometer-long cellar vaults that were carved out of the chalk cliffs deep beneath the winery. Gosset relies on the use of the antique bottle shape from 1760, which has now become the unmistakable symbol of the champagne house. This elegant bottle is decorated with a neck label known as the "necklace medallion." It is the only label of its kind in Champagne, which makes Gosset champagnes immediately eye-catching.
