Château Villemaurine is a little gem among the wineries in Saint-Émilion. The 7-hectare vineyard consists of a single block with several plots. The location is breathtaking, as the entire vineyard is located at the very top of the limestone plateau, the most prestigious location in Saint-Émilion. Due to the east-west orientation of the vineyard, this location has the entire range of the different terroir types of the plateau. The relatively small size of the winery allows precision work to be carried out by hand in the vineyard, while the latest technology is used in the new barrel storage and in the cellar. The Grand Cru is matured in small barrels, plot by plot, which allows perfect response to the different terroirs.
