Château Villemaurine is a little jewel among the wineries in Saint-Émilion. The 7 hectare vineyard consists of a single block with several plots. The location is breathtaking, as the entire vineyard is located on top of the limestone plateau, the most prestigious location of Saint-Émilion. Due to the east-west orientation of the vineyard, this location has the full range of different terroirs -Types of plateau. The relatively small size of the winery allows for precision work to be carried out in the vineyard by hand, while state-of-the-art technology is used in the new barrel store and cellar. The Grand Cru is matured plot by plot in small barrels, which allows a perfect response to the different terroirs.
