Château Saint-Pierre

Château Saint-Pierre, a 4ème Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Julien, is one of the smallest but most characterful estates of the appellation. The vineyards lie on the classic deep gravel soils of the Médoc, which offer especially ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the wines are powerful yet elegant, with dark fruit, fine spice and firm, precise tannins. The château’s style combines depth, freshness and remarkable structural clarity. Modern cellar technology and careful vineyard work ensure concentration, balance and excellent longevity. Château Saint-Pierre is regarded as an authentic, reliable ambassador of the Saint-Julien terroir.

Bordeaux

Origin in Focus

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is one of the world’s most renowned wine regions – a name that has stood for elegance, diversity and ageing potential for centuries. Gravel, clay and limestone soils alternate, allowing fine nuances in the wines that reflect both terroir and craftsmanship.

Bordeaux is typically known for blends in which grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc work together harmoniously.

Stylistically, red Bordeaux wines are defined by a balance of fruit, structure and freshness. The white wines – usually made from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and sometimes Muscadelle – range from crisp and citrus-driven to creamy and complex.
