Château Petit Village Grand Vin 2020

Château Petit-Village lies in the heart of the Pomerol plateau, where highly prized soils of deep, iron-rich clay (“crasse de fer”) and fine gravel create ideal conditions for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The estate has an exceptionally homogeneous, triangular parcel that is one of the appellation’s most distinctive terroirs. The wines combine rich dark fruit and floral notes with silky tannins, freshness and a characteristically elegant depth.

In recent years the estate has been extensively modernised under new management, with a focus on precision, sustainable farming and selective vinification. Château Petit-Village is now one of Pomerol’s stylistically finest and most balanced crus – powerful, refined and with excellent ageing potential.
