Pauillac
Neal Martin for Robert Parker
The 2014 Lynch Bages opens with a mix of red and black fruits, cedar and tobacco, gaining harmony and intensity in the glass. On the palate it is medium-bodied with fine tannins, quite linear and concentrated at the moment, precise, although a little more body and depth is needed to unfold in the straightforward finish. Give this Pauillac 4-5 years in the bottle and it will pay off.
