Domaine de Léoville is one of the oldest wineries in the Médoc and was owned by some of the richest and most influential French noble families before it was acquired by the Las Cases family . The winery has been run by the Delon family since the late 19th century. Château Léoville Las Cases is described as the "first among the super-seconds" and regularly challenges the Premier Crus in quality.
