Sauternes is located south of Bordeaux and is world famous for unique sweet wines. Dense wafts of fog move through the vineyards early in the autumn morning. Since 2006 it has been owned by Robert Peugeot, Olivier Bernard, Stephan von Neipperg and Xavier Planty. Four friends who share their passion for wine and their commitment to the environment. A good ecological balance is imperative so that high-quality wines can be produced that are free of additives and pesticides. Winegrowing at Château Guiraud has been organically certified since 2011.
