The 2015 Canon la Gaffeliere has a deep garnet-violet color and a cedar-like nose that initially gives way to fragrant aromas of roses and violets with a core of crushed blackcurrants, blackberries and cherries, as well as a hint of foliage and earth. The seductively fragrant red and black fruit fills the mouth, framed by soft tannins and plenty of freshness. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, it ends very long and minerally.
