The 2014 Canon-la-Gaffelière has a fruity, powerful bouquet with rounded raspberry, cherry, mulberry and light honey aromas that are clean and seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe red plum and tart cherry fruit. It is spicy on the back palate, with fine structure and balance on the finish. As always, a well-made, very delicious Canon-la-Gaffelière that should age in style.
