The 2018 Caiarossa offers a good insight into the future-oriented course and the solid quality record of this jewel of a winery on the Tuscan coast . A deep core of black fruits is supported by exotic spices, tar and sweet licorice in the background. The best work here is done by the tannins, which remain very soft and taut, giving the wine an elegant but determined backbone.
