Description
Description
Italy / Tuscany
The Caiarossa winery has adopted the principles of biodynamic agriculture from the very beginning. Winery owner Eric Albada Jelgersma, who is also responsible for the Grand Cru Château Giscours, introduced Caiarossa to the world of quality wines. The vineyards are located north of Bolgheri and very close to the Tuscan coast at an altitude of 600 m. The red floors typical here give the property the “rossa” part of its name. The Caiarossa is the winery's cru and is vinified in the style of a super Tuscan. It can be enjoyed as little as three years after the harvest and improves every year in the cellar.
