Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos PS 2022

Aalto Bodegas y Viñedos was founded in 1999 by Mariano García and Javier Zaccagnini with the clear aim of translating the essence of Ribera del Duero into powerful, elegant and modern Tempranillo wines. The estate farms around 130 hectares with more than 200 individual parcels across nine villages, whose different altitudes and microclimates create impressive stylistic depth.

The vines are exceptionally old – between 40 and 80 years – and produce small, highly concentrated Tinto Fino grapes from which the distinctive Aalto style emerges: deep, precise, finely spiced and exceptionally balanced.

Today Aalto stands for a modern interpretation of classic Ribera del Duero – wines full of power and elegance that set international benchmarks and rank among Spain’s most renowned.

Castile and León is one of Spain’s most exciting wine regions, known for powerful red wines and characterful indigenous varieties such as Tempranillo and Mencía. The continental climate, with hot days and cool nights, creates intense aromas and a distinctive structure. Tradition and modern winemaking go hand in hand and shape the region’s unmistakable style.
