Carl-Johann Tesdorpf, or Teso as his close friends call him, is a true wine personality. His family story and his own life are closely intertwined with wine – the Carl Tesdorpf wine merchant house in Lübeck can be traced back to the year 1678.

On the occasion of his birthday in June, I spoke with Mr. Tesdorpf about the wines that have shaped and accompanied him throughout his life.
