Vie di Romans from Mariano del Friuli is one of Friuli’s leading estates and is known for expressive, long-lived white wines. The warm yet wind-exposed climate of the Isonzo plain enables optimal ripening, while cool nights preserve freshness. Soils of gravel, sand and mineral-rich alluvial sediments give the wines clear structure and complex aromatics. Chardonnay, Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio develop remarkable depth, creamy texture and precise minerality here. Vie di Romans is characterised by late harvesting, low yields and deliberate barrel work, resulting in complex, concentrated yet elegant wines.
