Description

Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto Toscana IGT 2024 shows the maritime character of the Bolgheri hills. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot comes from stony, limestone-rich soils near the Tuscan coast. The nose shows dark berries, cassis and plum, with hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is juicy and precise, with fine-grained tannins, clear fruit and balanced freshness on the finish. Subtle oak spice adds structure and depth without masking the freshness.

Herkunft im Fokus

Tuscany

Tuscany is one of Italy’s defining wine regions, known for Sangiovese and iconic appellations such as Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The Mediterranean climate with sea breezes and diverse soils produces elegant, fresh wines with structure. On the coast, ‘Super Tuscans’ are also made from Cabernet, Merlot and other varieties. In addition to red wines, the region offers characterful whites such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Vermentino, as well as the traditional dessert wine Vin Santo. The result: tradition meets innovation – with clear terroir expression and great drinking pleasure.
