Tenuta Luce

Located in the hills of Montalcino, this estate stands for a modern interpretation of Tuscany in which Sangiovese and Merlot meet at the highest level. The vines grow on well-drained slopes with abundant sunshine and cool nights – ideal conditions for concentrated grapes with clear aromatics. The famous flagship wine Luce combines the spice and acid structure of Sangiovese with the fullness and velvety texture of Merlot, resulting in a powerful yet polished cuvée with notes of dark berries, plum, herbs, tobacco and fine oak. Lucente offers the same style in a more accessible form, while single-site bottlings add further depth. Careful hand harvesting, meticulous selection and precise barrique ageing provide polish and great ageing potential. Ideal for customers seeking iconic, internationally celebrated Super Tuscans with clear origin.

Origin in Focus

Tuscany

Tuscany is one of Italy’s defining wine regions, known for Sangiovese and iconic appellations such as Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The Mediterranean climate with sea breezes and diverse soils produces elegant, fresh wines with structure. On the coast, ‘Super Tuscans’ are also made from Cabernet, Merlot and other varieties. In addition to red wines, the region offers characterful whites such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano and Vermentino, as well as the traditional dessert wine Vin Santo. The result: tradition meets innovation – with clear terroir expression and great drinking pleasure.
