Description

The 2023 vintage is characterized by clarity, freshness, and cool elegance. On the nose, fine citrus notes, green apple, white peach, and a hint of herbal spice. On the palate, straightforward, precise, and saline. The acidity is present but perfectly integrated. The mineral structure provides tension and length, the wine finishes with a cool, puristic finale. A characterful Riesling that combines the classic, elegant style of Robert Weil with the creative freedom of the AC Collection.

Robert Weil Estate

Weingut Robert Weil in Kiedrich is one of the great Riesling benchmarks of the Rheingau. The vineyards lie on the cool Taunus slopes, with steep sites such as Kiedricher Gräfenberg, Turmberg and Klosterberg, shaped by Taunus quartzite and weathered slate. The result is highly precise Rieslings with cool citrus and stone-fruit notes, pronounced minerality and lively yet finely integrated acidity. The style is crystal-clear, elegant and always perfectly balanced between tension and drinkability. The spectrum ranges from firm, dry village and single-vineyard wines to off-dry classics and world-famous noble-sweet Auslesen, Beerenauslesen and Trockenbeerenauslesen. Gentle hand harvesting, selective picking and careful vinification in stainless steel and large wooden casks ensure consistency at the highest level. For a premium online shop, the estate offers everything: from characterful entry-level Riesling to sought-after collector’s icons.

Origin in Focus

Rheingau

The Rheingau is one of Germany’s most traditional wine regions. Favoured by the mild climate and south-facing slopes, characterful wines are produced here, above all elegant Rieslings with fine acidity, mineral character and great longevity. Pinot Noir also has a long history in the Rheingau and produces balanced, often delicate red wines.
