Neumeister Ried Klausen Weißburgunder comes from a cool single vineyard near Straden in Vulkanland Steiermark, shaped by limestone-rich and sandy soils. The nose shows ripe apple, pear, white flowers and a hint of nuts. On the palate it is clear and dry, with fine, supporting acidity, lightly saline minerality and a calm, harmonious length that emphasizes the site's character.
