Firmly in the hands of women, the winegrowers constantly build on quality and cultivate their vineyards sustainably. Very old vines of the Petite Sirah variety, which was first discovered in France in the mid-18th century, grow here. Today, this strain mainly grows in Lodi, California, and despite its growing popularity, it's not often found there either. Despite its popularity, Petite Sirah is an extremely rare grape variety with less than 10,000 hectares planted worldwide, growing primarily in California.
