Description

Lackner-Tinnacher Gamlitz Sauvignon Blanc comes from steep hills in Southern Styria around the town of Gamlitz. Cool nights and limestone-rich marl shape this Sauvignon's character. The nose shows citrus, yellowcurrant and ripe apple, with herbal notes and a hint of gooseberry. On the palate it is precise and juicy, with fine minerality, lively acidity and a direct, longer finish that clearly reflects its origin.

Lackner-Tinnacher Winery

Lackner-Tinnacher in Gamlitz is one of the quieter but style-defining estates of Southern Styria. Family-run for generations, the winery is firmly committed to biodynamic farming, old vines and selective manual work in often steep hillside vineyards. The focus is on Sauvignon Blanc, Morillon, Muskateller, Riesling and Burgundy varieties, which develop a cool, lean and highly precise style here. Restraint rules in the cellar: gentle pressing, slow fermentation, extended lees ageing and careful use of wood allow the origin to speak rather than the technique. Lackner-Tinnacher wines combine clarity and finesse with understated depth – ideal for wine lovers seeking elegant, distinctive Southern Styrian wines.
