Only a few years ago, Weingut Korrell was considered a well-kept secret among wine connoisseurs. Today, Martin Korrell shines as a rising star on the Nahe, and his wines have received numerous national and international awards.

Weingut Korrell is guided by a philosophy that can be summarised in three core ideas: authentic, approachable and sustainable. These principles are reflected not only in the wines, but also in the culture of the estate. The Korrell family strives to remain genuine and to present both their wines and their personality authentically. This authenticity is evident in their classic, purist wines, which are carefully perfected and refined.

Korrell’s philosophy can be summed up by the principle ‘less is more’. This means focusing on the essentials and giving the vines in the vineyard the attention they need. The focus is on Riesling, regarded as the grape variety that best represents Germany and the Nahe.

A remarkable step for the estate was the conversion to organic viticulture in 2023. This brought not only more greenery, but also significantly more manual work. The Korrell team is grateful for the hard work of their vineyard workers, who often operate behind the scenes and are essential to the estate’s success.

The personal favourite wine of the estate owner is Riesling Paradies, which represents a deep connection to the origin of the estate and its site in the heart of the Nahe Valley.
