Korrell Riesling Brut: A unique taste experience

Germany / Nahe

A few years ago, the Korrell winery was still an absolute insider tip among wine connoisseurs. Today, winemaker Martin Korrell is often referred to as a shooting star from the Nahe. His wines have won multiple national and international awards and are among the best in the wine region.

The quality of Korrell Riesling Brut

The Korrell Riesling Brut is an exceptional sparkling wine, created through the careful combination of Riesling grapes and the Rural Method. This method ensures that the wine develops a compact structure and fresh bubbles. But not only that – the Riesling also contributes its natural sweetness, which perfectly combines with the sparkling carbonation.

The ideal companion for any occasion

Whether for celebrations or simply for relaxation – the Korrell Riesling Brut suits many situations. Because this wine is so versatile, you can enjoy it as an aperitif or serve it with a light meal. Thus, it becomes a real highlight at your party or during a cozy evening at home.

Tradition meets modern refinement

The Traditional Rural Method used in this product demonstrates the importance of quality. The grapes are carefully selected and processed to achieve the best taste. Furthermore, the natural freshness of the Riesling complements the complexity of the wine. Therefore, this sparkling wine is not only a delight but also a tribute to the art of winemaking.

Wine journalist Stuart Pigott once summed it up succinctly: ‘Paradise exists.’ He was referring to the wines of exceptional winemaker Martin Korrell. Only a few years ago, Weingut Korrell was considered a well-kept secret among wine connoisseurs. Today, Martin Korrell shines as a rising star on the Nahe, and his wines have received numerous national and international awards.

Weingut Korrell is guided by a philosophy that can be summarised in three core ideas: authentic, approachable and sustainable. These principles are reflected not only in the wines, but also in the culture of the estate. The Korrell family strives to remain genuine and to present both their wines and their personality authentically. This authenticity is evident in their classic, purist wines, which are carefully perfected and refined.

Korrell’s philosophy can be summed up by the principle ‘less is more’. This means focusing on the essentials and giving the vines in the vineyard the attention they need. The focus is on Riesling, regarded as the grape variety that best represents Germany and the Nahe.

A remarkable step for the estate was the conversion to organic viticulture in 2023. This brought not only more greenery, but also significantly more manual work. The Korrell team is grateful for the hard work of their vineyard workers, who often operate behind the scenes and are essential to the estate’s success.

The personal favourite wine of the estate owner is Riesling Paradies, which represents a deep connection to the origin of the estate and its site in the heart of the Nahe Valley. For him, this wine is more than a drink – it symbolises gratitude and a bond with the history and heritage of Weingut Korrell.
