Description

France / Champagne

The Frerejean brothers have champagne in their blood - their mother comes from the well-known champagne family Taittinger. After initially only making champagne for family and friends, the brothers founded the boutique champagne house Frerejean in 2005. The Brut Grande Réserve follows the same vinification method and philosophy as the entire FJF range. The Chardonnay grapes for the Grande Réserve come from Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites, the Pinot Noir from the heart of the Côte des Blancs and the Pinot Meunier from the adjacent sites. The winemakers decided to bring a bit of Pinot Meunier into the cuvée to create a complex style.

Champagne Frerejean Frères

Champagne Frerejean Frères The founding trio of the Maison, consisting of brothers Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger, initially began producing champagne for their family and closest friends. The unparalleled quality of their creations quickly spread and won the hearts of discerning connoisseurs. Today, the champagne house enjoys the honor of serving in the exclusive role of official champagne supplier for the ceremonial awarding of the coveted Michelin stars. Find out more The Frerejean-Taittinger brothers grew up with a love and respect for the Champagne tradition. Rodolphe was baptized with champagne at the tender age of one and enjoyed his first sip of this enchanting drink at the age of eight. The taste, the energy, the pure magic of champagne captivated him from the very beginning. Under the guidance of his brothers and the mentorship of the renowned Chef de Caves, Didier Pierson - a fifth-generation winegrower from Avize - Rodolphe embarked on a journey of discovery and explored the diverse terroirs that make up Champagne. The journey began with the brothers making Champagne exclusively for their family and friends, but the quality of their exceptional wines quickly spread and led them into the world of business in 2005. Their main motivation was to create complex and elegant champagnes with a clear link to the Champagne region.
