Description
France / Bordeaux / Graves / Pessac-Léognan
The Domaine de Chevalier belongs to the elite of the Grands Cru Classé in Bordeaux. The fact that Chevalier never gave up the name "Domaine" in favor of the newer designation "Château" is a testament to the winery's long history. In 1983, the Domaine de Chevalier was acquired by the Bernard family, one of the most important wine merchants and winegrowing families in Bordeaux. Since then, Chevalier has been run by winemaker Olivier Bernard, who has gradually introduced a winemaking philosophy that is all about the perfect balance of wines. The Domaine de Chevalier Blanc is recognized as one of the greatest dry white wines in the world.
