Dom Perignon P2 Vintage brut 2003
Description
Description
France / Champagne
Dom Perignon's 2003 vintage champagne was first released in 2010. The house deliberately only released a portion of the 2002 vintage so that another portion of the bottles could mature for another ten years. The result is the P2, the second maturity stage (Plénitude) of the 2002 vintage. Slow maturation over 16 years in the house's underground limestone cellars has raised the 2002 vintage to a new dimension that surpasses the first release. The extended maturation period clearly expresses the special character of the Dom Pérignon P2, more depth and multifaceted mineral, powerful and spicy notes.
