Vintage 2015
Description
Description
France / Champagne / Côte des Blancs & Montagne de Reims
Dom Pérignon 2015 is Moët & Chandon’s prestige cuvée and marks an exceptional vintage, characterized by a cool spring and an intense heatwave in August, followed by an early harvest starting on September 7th. The blend consists of 51% Pinot Noir and 49% Chardonnay, with approximately 4.5 g/l dosage. It was aged until disgorgement in January 2023.
The 2015 vintage appears in the glass in bright gold with subtle green reflections. Its bouquet is complex: white pepper and iodine notes, ripe orchard fruits, toast, smoke, spices, and floral nuances such as lime blossom, jasmine, and peony. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, structured, with a fine phenolic texture, saline minerality, and a long, elegant finish.
